Comments: I’ve revisited the photo of the model who served as the base for this portrait multiple times with good reason: he simply has some fantastic expressions. Since finally beginning to play through the extended edition versions, I’ve been considering making an evil character in order to finally pick up some of the new characters, including Baeloth, Dorn and Hexxat. Since I’m now a little fanatical about wanting portrait consistency in my playthroughs, this first version is obviously used in BGI.

I like most things about this. One thing though… I think the face on this character looks a bit too clean or “digital”. If you compare to BG1 style portraits you can see that most look very realistic in their faces, like skin, dirt, scars and shadows.
The color is perfect though and the armor and “pose”.
PS: keep it up isandir. Love your work. Pillar of Eternity 1 and 2 has the same size for their portraits as BG2. Its amazing 🙂 I can STILL use your portraits today in these games.
